At the 2017 ABA/IPT Advanced Tax Seminars, Michelle DeLappe, among a group of panelists will discuss the concepts of obsolescence, methods to identify and measure it, and how decision makers (i.e. judges, board members, etc.) perceive those methods at the session, "How to Win Your Case on Obsolescence" held on Friday, March 24th from 9:45 – 11:15 a.m.

Learning Objectives.  By attending this session, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain what constitutes obsolescence and why it is important to consider
  • Describe methods to identify and quantify obsolescence
  • Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of those methods in a litigation context
