New York, NY, August 5, 2013 - Garvey Schubert Barer announced attorneys Maurice Heller and Alan Heller joined the firm’s New York City office.

Alan and Maurice Heller join Garvey Schubert Barer this month after practicing commercial litigation for the past 20 years as partners at firm Heller, Horowitz & Feit, P.C. Alan Heller’s practice concentrates on commercial and securities litigation with a focus on small and mid-sized privately held businesses. Maurice Heller specializes in real estate litigation, not-for-profit corporations, condominiums and cooperatives, insurance coverage and healthcare and has written and lectured nationally on a variety of healthcare issues. He also serves as an arbitrator for the American Health Lawyers Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Service.

Matt Schneider, managing director, of the firm’s New York and Washington, D.C. offices said the Hellers’ expertise in real estate and health care litigation are an invaluable addition to the firm.
