SEATTLE, April 29, 2009 – Anne Preston, an owner in Garvey Schubert Barer’s Seattle office, has been named as a fellow with the Litigation Counsel of America. Less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers are members of the honorary society. Fellows are selected based on their superior ethical reputations as well as their effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Preston focuses her practice in the labor and employment area. She assists clients with respect to the full spectrum of labor and employment matters, including litigating employment disputes, advising clients on the myriad of labor and employment issues which arise in a business context, and negotiating collective bargaining agreements. She has been named by her peers as one of Washington's "Super Lawyers" in Washington Law & Politics magazine every year since 2000 and was selected as one of the Top 50 Women Washington "Super Lawyers" in 2007 and 2008. She was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2009 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Labor and Employment Law.
