PORTLAND, ORE., January 20, 2012 - Garvey Schubert Barer announced that Stephen Connolly was re-elected as managing director of the firm's Portland office. He also serves on the firm-wide executive committee.
In his practice, Connolly represents publicly and privately held businesses in a wide variety of corporate, commercial and transactional matters. He has extensive experience in evaluating and structuring mergers and acquisitions. Connolly also represents developers, builders, investors and corporate clients in real estate matters.
Active in the Oregon State Bar, Connolly served on a Special Task Force that drafted the limited liability company legislation in Oregon in 1992. He is also active in the Multnomah Bar Association and previously chaired both its membership committee and insurance committee.
Connolly received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law (1977) and his B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Kappa Phi, in political science from Oregon State University (1974).
