November 1, 2013 - Judy Endejan joins Garvey Schubert Barer (GSB) expanding GSB’s DC-based national communications practice with a West Coast presence.
GSB’s clients have been involved in all facets of communications, such as electronic media, broadcast radio and TV (both public and commercial), web-based services and streaming media, mobile telephone, wireless devices, telecommunications, cable, microwave, satellite, tower site development and leasing, and content development and distribution. GSB continues to grow with hiring Endejan who was a professional journalist and practiced both privately and in-house.
Endejan is also familiar with the legal matters clients experience in their businesses, such as commercial contracts, employment issues, and intellectual property matters. She recognizes that the information economy is ever changing and assists clients to develop and implement policies or agreements that reflect these technological advances. Previously, she spent ten years with GTE Corporation (now Verizon) in the Northwest and California and developed an advanced understanding of public utility regulation and administrative law.
John Crigler, a GSB DC-based Owner, had this to say Endejan, “I am thrilled that Judy has, at last, agreed to join our firm and will help us expand our presence in the Northwest. I have known Judy for years, and for most of those years have tried to persuade her that her practice would perfectly complement ours. Her unique background as a journalist, a litigator, a First Amendment advocate, and an expert in media law and developing technologies will broaden our expertise in the field of communications.”
Endejan earned both her degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and graduated cum laude, and a J.D. where she graduated summa cum laude, Order of the Coif. She’s admitted to practice in Washington, California and Oregon.
