WASHINGTON, D.C., September 16, 2009 – At Native Public Media’s Fifth Anniversary Celebration, Garvey Schubert Barer’s John Crigler was honored for his continued service to the organization. The event was held September 15 at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian and awarded the contributions of the organization’s pro bono policy team. Mr. Crigler has worked with Native Public Media since its inception. He has helped it double the number of radio stations licensed to tribal entities.
