Overview

Kathleen is committed to helping her clients resolve complex commercial litigation and business disputes.

She chairs the litigation department for the Portland office and maintains a diverse civil litigation practice, with an emphasis on commercial litigation and business disputes. Kathleen is licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington and California and has prosecuted and defended claims involving responsibilities of board members, directors and officers, breach of noncompete agreements, breach of contract, wrongful interference with business relations, patent infringement, and wage and hour disputes. She also has defended individuals and companies against professional liability claims.

Kathleen has successfully tried cases in court, arbitrated disputes, and briefed and argued matters before the Oregon Court of Appeals. She serves on the firm’s Litigation Technical & Innovation Committee, which develops tools for case budgeting and alternative fee arrangements for clients.
