Overview

Kristi has 20 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal. She is familiar with many types of litigation support technologies. She uses a variety of databases and e-discovery tools for collecting, processing, reviewing and producing documents, including Relativity, Summation and Digital War Room. She also performs background investigations for due diligence and witness research purposes.

Kristi has worked on a wide variety of matters at GSB, including decades-long litigation regarding environmental cleanup sites in the Northwest.  She administers the post-settlement fee recovery in these cases, which involves tracking multi-million dollar payments, preparing regular packages of cost reimbursement material, tracking and processing payments in Excel and assisting with resolving payment disputes.

Kristi has also worked on maritime personal injury matters under the Jones Act, which includes organizing documents, assisting with drafting pleadings, obtaining medical records and locating experts.

She has also worked on responding to civil and criminal third-party subpoenas in the financial services industries, and is aware of both grand jury secrecy regulations and banking service regulations which governs disclosure rules.  

Kristi is a member of the firm’s Litigation Technology and Innovation Committee, and is a long-term member of the Washington State Association of Legal Investigators (WALI) and the Seattle chapter of Women in eDiscovery.
