Overview

Maury Heller’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, not-for-profit corporations, condominiums and cooperatives, insurance coverage issues, sports and entertainment and healthcare.  He has over 30 years of experience, and, for 20 of those years, he was Partner at Heller, Horowitz & Feit, P.C.  Before that, Maury served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert M. McRae, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and as an associate at Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler and at Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts.  Maury has trial and appellate practice in both federal and state courts, commercial arbitrations and administrative proceedings before government agencies.  Maury serves as an arbitrator for the American Health Lawyers Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Service.  Also, Maury has written and lectured nationally on issues pertaining to health care litigation.
