Andrew Richards represents clients in the commercial fishing and maritime industries in connection with commercial litigation and administrative appeals, advocacy before fishery management councils, defending fisheries enforcement actions, business transactional matters and shipyard work.
Andrew has appeared before courts in Oregon, Washington and Alaska, the National Appeals Office of the National Marine Fisheries Service, and the Government Accountability Office. Before entering private practice, Andrew clerked for a federal judge in Alaska and then joined the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., through its Honors Program. Andrew got his start in the working world as a deckhand on his father’s commercial salmon troller.
