Charles Robinson's practice is focused on commercial litigation, emphasizing creditor's rights, bankruptcy litigation and related transactional work. His clients include creditors, commercial lenders, financially troubled companies and investors in corporate and partnership restructurings and liquidations in out-of-court workouts and bankruptcy cases. He advises clients in all aspects of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. Additionally, he has represented the purchaser of assets from bankruptcy estates including multimillion dollar transactions in the NPR, Inc., Schwinn Cycling & Fitness, Inc. and StairMaster, Inc. bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Robinson has 19 years' experience as a trial attorney in bankruptcy, federal and state courts. His practice includes counsel to and representation of clients in bankruptcy courts in reorganization cases and in bankruptcy court litigation, including preferential transfer and fraudulent transfer recovery cases, and other bankruptcy estate recovery actions. He has appeared in bankruptcy courts throughout the United States, including Washington, Delaware, Oregon, California, Colorado and Louisiana. Additionally, he has appeared in federal and state courts in a variety of commercial disputes, focusing on those involving debtor-creditor issues.
Mr. Robinson represents clients in a variety of industries important to the Northwest economy including shipping, manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, telecommunications, real estate, farming, healthcare, insurance, fishing and entertainment.
