Bruce Beckner has over 30 years’ experience trying cases and arguing appeals on behalf of cable television companies, broadcasters, competitive local exchange carriers and cellular telephone companies. He has tried cases before arbitration panels, state utility commissions, the Federal Communications Commission and state and federal courts involving regulatory, competitive and business issues for these clients. He has argued appeals before most of the US circuit courts of appeal and several state appellate courts.

While primarily a courtroom advocate, Mr. Beckner has considerable substantive expertise and experience in federal telecom law, federal cable television regulation, antitrust and copyright. During his career he has not only represented clients in litigated disputes in these areas, but has represented them in transactional matters, pre-litigated disputes and investigations related to these subject areas.
