Theresa Simpson represents both Internet and brick and mortar businesses with respect to licensing and other business matters, especially those involving protection of intellectual property rights, e-commerce and media issues. Ms. Simpson advises publishers, producers, musicians and other performers, athletes, labels, artists, writers, trademark owners, software developers and other creative clients in drafting and negotiating licensing, distribution and other agreements; asserting and defending copyright and trademark claims; resolution of business disputes and other entertainment and media issues. Ms. Simpson is an adjunct lecturer in the Master of Communication in Digital Media program at the University of Washington, and has taught "Digital Media Law and Policy" since 2009.
