William Simon practices in the areas of business organization law (corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies); mergers, acquisitions, equity and debt financings and other business transactions; federal, state and international taxation; estate planning and probate; and contracts and commercial law.
Mr. Simon serves as general outside counsel to numerous business organizations and their owners, advising on or coordinating the provision of legal services on the whole range of legal issues and controversies that can confront an individual or business. He has represented venture capital funds, entrepreneurs and U.S. and foreign companies in securities and investment banking, publishing, broadcasting, cable television, environmental engineering, information technology, insurance services, manufacturing, market research, medicine and medical devices, restaurants/food service, retailing, real estate, law, accounting, consulting and other industries. These clients are regional, national and international in scope.
