Sarah Carlin Ames was a featured guest on KGW “Straight Talk,” discussing the City Club of Portland’s latest research report that determined that Portland’s unique commission-based government does not adequately represent communities across all parts of the city.

Sarah appeared alongside Steve Novick, former City Commissioner, and Mischa Webley, Communications Manager of the Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods, and outlined specifically why Portland’s archaic commission form of government is not working as well as the City Club’s proposed changes that it feels would lead to better representation of city residents.
