Foster Garvey is pleased to announce that Lauren King, a Principal in the Litigation and Native American Law practices, has been appointed by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee to serve on the Gambling Commission. Lauren’s term will end on June 30, 2021.

The Washington State Gambling Commission is an accredited, limited-jurisdiction law enforcement agency and the only statewide agency devoted to gambling licensing, regulation and enforcement. Their legislative declaration is to keep the criminal element out of gambling and to promote social welfare through strict regulation and control.
